STATIC SHIEDING-ESD BAGS

Miller Packaging’s MPK-1500 Metal-out Static Shielding Bags are transparent, metalized static shielding bags that provide a safe package for your ESD sensitive products. These bags are a four layer construction incorporating a polyester dielectric and metal layer to provide Faraday effect shielding of ESD and fields. The metal-out configuration provides low charge retention and rapid static decay. Tribocharging is minimized by the specially processed polyethylene. The bags are available flat or with various style closures. Miller Packaging bags are coded for QC traceability.

Meets electrical and physical requirements of MIL-PRF-81705 Type III, EIA 541, EIA 625, MIL-HDBK 263, MIL-STD 1686 and EOS/ESD Standards, and charge retention standards.

MPK-1500 metal-out flat and zipper-closure static shield bags are made using a proprietary top coating. The top coating and metal layer provide low charge retention and Faraday Effect shielding of ESD. The polyester dielectric stops the current from the ESD and the metal layer prevents penetration of damaging electrostatic fields. Tribochraging is minimized by the specially processed polyethylene.
